Our Process: Audit to Verified Savings

Audit → Engineering & Financial Model → Incentive Application → Installation → M&V / VEM.

How does an SSI project work?

Every Silver State Incentives project follows five steps: an on-site audit, an engineering and financial model, the NV Energy incentive application, installation on your schedule, and IPMVP-compliant measurement and verification with 24/7/365 Virtual Energy Management. You see the numbers before you commit.

  1. Audit

On-site survey of lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, motors and metering. We document baselines and operating hours.

  2. Engineering & Financial Model

Measure-by-measure design with kWh, kW, cost, incentive, SIR, IRR and payback.

  3. Incentive Application

We prepare and submit NV Energy prescriptive and custom applications and track approval.

  4. Installation

Licensed crews install on your schedule, nights and weekends included, with minimal disruption.

  5. M&V / VEM

IPMVP-compliant verification and 24/7/365 Virtual Energy Management keep savings in place.

Step 1

Audit

We survey lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, motors, controls and metering. We log fixture counts, nameplates, operating hours and utility bills to build an accurate baseline.

Step 2

Engineering & Financial Model

Each measure is engineered and costed. You receive kWh, kW, dollars, incentive, SIR, IRR, NPV and payback, measure by measure and in total.

Step 3

Incentive Application

We prepare NV Energy prescriptive and custom applications, supporting calculations and documentation, then track the application to approval before work begins.

Step 4

Installation

Licensed crews install on your schedule. We coordinate shutdowns, nights and weekends to protect operations.

Step 5

M&V / VEM

We verify savings under IPMVP and connect your facility to 24/7/365 Virtual Energy Management, with monthly reporting.

How incentives offset this

Utility capital pays for part of the upgrade

Step three is where utility capital enters the project. Approval is secured before installation, so your investment decision is made on the net cost.

  • We identify every eligible NV Energy prescriptive and custom incentive.
  • We stack lighting with controls to raise the incentive 20–50%.
  • We prepare and submit the application, then verify savings under IPMVP.

Savings calculator

Quick savings estimate

Adjust the inputs for a planning estimate. The full calculator adds incentives, payback, CO2 and a 10-year view.

Assumes $0.10/kWh and $12/kW-month. Change rates in the full calculator.

Estimated annual savings
$0

Planning estimate only. Actual savings and incentives are confirmed through an on-site audit and utility program approval.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does the audit take?

Most single-site audits take one to two days on site.

Is there a cost for the consultation?

The first consultation is a short phone or video call, and it is free. A whole-building, whole-system evaluation is a paid service; a consultant will explain what it covers and what it costs.

When is the incentive paid?

After installation is complete and verified, per program rules.

Who installs the equipment?

Licensed installation crews managed by SSI.

What does M&V involve?

Baseline metering, post-installation metering and adjustment for conditions under IPMVP.

Turn Your Overhead Into Net Profit.

Book a no-pressure consultation with a veteran energy consultant. We will show you the savings, the incentive and the payback before you commit.

Every month you wait is money lost to inefficiency. Incentive funding is limited per program year.
